Women's Birthday Cards

A Dutch card for my G-ma.
The windmill I actually stamped in color on vellum, then embossed it with iridescent powder. It still didn't show up enough for my liking, so I stamped it again on a plain piece of white paper, cut it out, and lined it up underneath the image on the vellum. My G-ma loved this card so much, she said she might frame it, and also took it to the family gathering for her birthday so that she could show it off to everyone. Talk about stroking my ego! :-)

I've been experimenting a lot more with color, since I finally bought all the SU! colors of cardstock and matching markers. It's really fun to have everything match!

Pink Happy Birthday
This one I made at a stamping party, too (I don't generally use pink on my own!) I do like the effect of pink and black together, though!
